PARAGUAY KICKBOXING FEDERATION ATTENDED THE INWRITING CEREMONY OF THE NEW MINISTER OF SPORTS
On August 17th, the new Minister of the National Secretariat of Sports of the Republic, of the Government of Paraguay, César Ramirez, took office, as well as his entire work team. The ceremony, among authorities from different confederations and representations of different sports, was attended by the Vice-President of the Paraguayan Kickboxing Confederation, Carlos Morinigo, and Mónica Falcón, Secretary.
Ramírez's appointment was made directly by the President of the Republic, Santiago Peña, with four main purposes, outlined in his speech: sports education, inclusive sport, high-performance sports and the decentralization of sports practices.
In the inauguration speech, the new Minister of State stated: “I come from the popular bases of the sports and political firmament, climbing was not easy, but the trust of the people, the sports talent and the dedication to service brought us here, to work together on a great national project to strengthen the sports identity of a whole country that needs sporting victories and glories”.
