K-1 FIGHT WEEK BRASILIA
El próximo mes de agosto tiene todo para quedar marcado en la historia del Kickboxing de WAKO Panam. La ciudad de Brasilia tendrá, entre los días 17 y 24 de agosto, una semana de celebración del deporte con numerosas atracciones que quedarán para siempre en la memoria de los aficionados del deporte.
El día 17, el WGP Kickboxing realizará su edición número 77 con las finales del Super 8 Challenger GP de los Súper-Ligeros (hasta 64,5 kg) como principal atracción. Luego, durante la semana, se llevarán a cabo diversos seminarios técnicos con verdaderas leyendas del deporte como Peter Aerts, Semmy Schilt y Pedro Rizzo, además de figuras actuales como Cesinha Almeida. El día 24, para cerrar la semana con estilo, se realizará una edición especial del K-1 Brazil, por primera vez en América Latina en su formato tradicional.
Durante la semana del evento, que se llevará a cabo el 24 de agosto, se realizarán seminarios con nombres que han marcado una época en el deporte. Dos de ellos son las leyendas holandesas Semmy Schilt y Peter Aerts, ambos con mucha historia en la organización. Otro gran nombre es el brasileño Pedro Rizzo, conocido por sus devastadoras patadas y por protagonizar combates épicos en el UFC y Pride. Por último, pero no menos importante, Cesinha Almeida, el mayor ganador de WGP, quien se retiró del evento como campeón y comenzó a pelear en UFC, donde tiene todo para construir una carrera brillante.

Tricampeón del K-1, venció a figuras como Masaaki Satake, Jerome Le Banner, Andy Hug, Sam Greco, Mike Bernardo y Ernesto Hoost.

The month of August has everything to go down in the history of WAKO Panam Kickboxing. Between August 17 and 24, the city of Brasília will host a week-long celebration of the sport, with plenty of attractions that will live long in the memory of kickboxing fans.
On the 17th, WGP Kickboxing will hold its 77th edition with the finals of the Super 8 Challenger GP at Super Lightweight division (up to 64.5kg) as the main attraction. Then, during the week, three days of technical seminars will be held with true legends of the sport such as Peter Aerts, Semmy Schilt and Pedro Rizzo, as well today’s great athletes such as Cesinha Almeida. On the 24th, to close the week in style, a special edition of K-1 Brazil will be held, for the first time in Latin America in its traditional format.
During the week of the show, which takes place on August 24th, technical seminars will be held with names that have marked an era in the event and in the sport. Two of them are Dutch legends Semmy Schilt and Peter Aerts, both of whom have a long history in the organization. The biggest winner of the WGP, he retired from the event as champion and started fighting in the UFC, where he has everything to build a brilliant career.
